Volunteer Clearance Procedure

WHO CAN VOLUNTEER AT SSPJ SCHOOL AND EVENTS

Any adult who has been cleared through the Diocese of Metuchen and State of New Jersey, and has attended a Protecting God’s Children training session, may volunteer.

PROCEDURE TO OBTAIN VOLUNTEER CLEARANCE

  1. Fill out the Diocese of Metuchen Volunteer Application and return it to SSPJ School Office.
  2. Create an account on Virtus Online. If you already have an account, go to virtusonline.org.
  3. Click on Background Checks box to complete your background check request.
  4. Click Current Training box to select and register for a Protecting God’s Children class.
