Junior High students all pitched in to clean up Mary's Garden for the month of the Holy Rosary. Here the 8th Grade students pray a rosary.
This month the SSPJ Kindergarten classes are learning about Saint Francis of Assisi. Because Saint Francis is known to have always shown love to all of God's creatures, the students wanted to work on a special project which centered around kindness to animals. They created "Saint Francis" bird feeders which are now hanging proudly in both our school Rosary garden and in the dogwood trees on Mary's Lawn. We hope the birds enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them!
READ MOREDomenico (Pre-K) asking Mrs. Beaugard to take his dinosaur's temperature too! The students have been AWESOME about wearing their masks, staying distanced, and washing their hands.
Each month the Kindergarten classes learn about a different Saint and complete a project focused on one of the virtues of the Saint of the Month. For September, we learned about St. Pio, a renowned healer. The students made paper flowers and sent "get well" wishes to the patients at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. A team of true health care heroes delivered the flowers to patients, who said the kind gesture inspired so many smiles truly helped take their pain away!
READ MOREFamilies drove up to drop off school supplies. Thank you to all our wonderful SSPJ families for your hard work and support during this closure. We love you! Have a wonderful and relaxing summer. God Bless you!
